KLUB MØNTAGE

KLUB MØNTAGE has been running since 2020 as a concert and event project, designed as an interactive, process-oriented format for real-time composition. Audience and guest artists are invited to join in multimedia jam sessions, developing a shared artistic language of sound, visuals, and space.

COLLECTIVE AND ART SPACE

SANDKASTEN SYNDIKAT

Sandkasten Syndikat is a transdisciplinary artist collective operating at the intersection of media art, sound, performance, and media/cultural theory. Founded in 2020 as an „association for transcultural and interdisciplinary artistic networking and cultural mediation,“ the 10-member group has built long-term collaborations and developed numerous interdisciplinary formats— like KLUB MØNTAGE.

Joanna Coleman

aka keinponny (she/her/them)

Media artist, designer, and workshop facilitator exploring critical theory, culture, and art through sound and visuals. Fascinated by electrical signals, interference, hacking, and subcultures. Studied Transmedia Art at Angewandte and thrives in collective, self-organized practices.

Markus Liszt

(he/him)

Performance artist, stage designer, and technician. Has worked on productions with Asli Kislal, Hubsi Kramar, and Sirene Operntheater since 2008. Active in performance since 2004, his projects span new circus and media art. In 2023, he received a BMKÖS grant for contemporary circus at the intersection of performance and media art.

Sandro Nicolussi

(he/him)

Moves between ambient, drone, and techno, driven by improvisation, collaboration, and analog-digital randomness. His sound design integrates electroacoustics, field recordings, and found tapes. Releases on Beach Buddies, Sama Recordings, Vienna Underground Traxx and plays in paseule, Drug Searching Dogs, KMØN.

David Pridal

Oscillates between drone, noise, dub, techno, and sound art. Active as a musician, sound designer, and audio engineer for Klub Møntage, Sonic Territories Festival, Vienna Improviser Orchestra, VELAK Gala, WOW! Signal Festival, and more. Specializes in improvisation and real-time composition, also leading workshops.

Daphne von Schrader

(she/her)

interdisciplinary artist exploring bacteria, sickness and digestion, creates conceptual audio pieces and lecture performances with data sonification, electronic ecosystems and sample based compositions. Beyond sound, her work spans installation, film, and performance.

Robert Zimmermann

aka stroborobo (he/him)

Underground gem known for his handmade modular synth live sets. His DJ mixes accompany experimental urban art projects like RAD Performance (Spiral Bike 2023). Shares expertise in analog/digital interfaces and audio-visual design at the University of Applied Arts Vienna.

Fabian Kindl

(he/him)

Early childhood encounters with fractal patterns caused by a video feedback accident sparked his long-term exploration of cybernetic systems and interactive, multisensory setups. Student works Dr. Röhrich (2017) and Rosette 4.0 (2018), exhibited at Stift Melk, Volkstheater Wien, Sonnenpark St. Pölten; he taught Experimental Media and TouchDesigner at St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences; contributions to Lucid Dreams – Festival for Digital Art (23–24);
Alongside his artistic practice, he studies and practices Shiatsu in Vienna and works on drone-based 3D reconstruction.

Mathias Gether

(he/him)

Active at the intersection of music and performance, focusing on analog music and modular synthesis. Active in live soundtracks, bass performance, and collaborative, improvisation-based projects.

J.Jesch

(they/them)

is a transdisciplinary artist working across performance, sculpture, and light installation in Vienna and Salzburg. Alongside studying Transmedia Art with Brigitte Kowanz (2008–2015), they completed various trainings in dance. Their practice focuses on the intersection of visual art, performance, and design, moving between spatial and light installations, (dance) performance, sculpture, and wearables.
