DIY SYNTHESIZER ALS PERFORMATIVES OBJEKT

In this 4-hour workshop, participants will build simple experimental synthesizers while learning the basics of electronic sound generation. The workshop introduces fundamental principles of modular synthesis through the hands-on construction of various DIY circuits.

Participants can choose from several circuits, including a 555 oscillator, an optical theremin, the Atari Punk Console, an echo/delay module, Chaos NAND, and the 12-octave timer.

In addition, different methods of control will be introduced — through control voltage, light sensors, or solar cells. These approaches open up new interactive and immersive possibilities for sound installations, sound objects, and sound performance.

What to bring: 9V batteries or a 9V DC power supply (center positive) for later use of the synthesizers
